Pop icon Ariana Grande is stepping into animation alongside Josh Gad, voicing roles in the upcoming musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s beloved book Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
The movie, directed by Jon M. Chu (Wicked) with Jill Culton (Abominable) co‑at the helm, is set to hit IMAX screens on 17 March 2028.
The voice cast was officially revealed via a behind‑the‑scenes Instagram snap showing Ariana and Josh deep in rehearsal, script binders in hand as they began recording this week . Josh Gad shared the moment, calling the project “something very very special,” while Ariana teased fans with a caption of just three words and a fairy emoji: “Oh, the Places You’ll Go ! 🧚🏻”.

Expect major musical energy too—with original songs crafted by EGOT‑winners Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land, Greatest Showman), under the production of J.J. Abrams alongside Gregg Taylor of Bad Robot.
Although the book doesn’t follow a traditional narrative, the film promises to expand it into a rich cinematic tale brimming with heart, life lessons and Wunder‑style visual flair—echoing Warner Bros.’ other Seuss adaptations in the works.
Ariana’s cinema streak is gaining momentum—with her turn as Glinda in Wicked: For Good set for November 2025, followed by a role in Meet the Parents 4 in 2026. Oh, the Places You’ll Go! marks another bold step—uniting animation, song and big‑screen storytelling with one of today’s biggest talents and her Wicked director Jon M. Chu.
