The Foreign Affairs Minister says he's happy with the conditions in which Ibrahim Halawa is being kept in Egypt.

The Dublin teenager has been in prison for almost two years, after being arrested while taking part in a protest while on holiday in Cairo.

He's facing the death penalty as part of a mass trial, which has been repeatedly delayed.

Charlie Flanagan has told the Dail that Ibrahim is being held in better conditions than some people believe.

It has been claimed that the 19-year-old has been held in a jail that is known for its torture chambers, that he's had his hair shaved off and that he's been forced to spend time with no clothes.
