Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a shooting in Tallaght.
One man was injured in the gun attack in Kingswood Heights.
The incident happened at around half six yesterday evening a man, armed with a gun, approached a car which was outside house at the Grove in Kingswood Heights.
He fired a number of shots and one of the occupants, a man in his 20s, was injured and taken to Tallaght Hospital.
His injuries aren’t thought to be life threatening.
The gunman fled the scene on foot.
The scene has been preserved for a technical exam which will be carried out this morning.
Gardai in Tallaght are asking one with information about the shooting to contact them.
