Man Killed In Blanchardstown Scrambler Crash

A man has been killed in a scrambler bike crash in Dublin.

It happened on the Phibblestown Road in Castaheaney in Blanchardstown at around 2.10pm yesterday afternoon.

The driver, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a time and has since reopened after a technical examination was carried out by Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Phibblestown Road area of Dublin 15 between 1:45pm and 2:15pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
