A man in his 30s has been injured in a shooting in Dublin.
It happened at a house in the Pimlico Gardens area of Dublin 8 at 11.50pm last night.
He's been taken to St James's Hospital and is in a stable condition.
Less than half an hour after the shooting, at approximately 12:15am, a car was found partially burnt out at Old Church Way in Clondalkin. It's being technically examined and the scene at Pimlico Gardens remains sealed off.
An incident Room has been established at Kevin Street Garda Station
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to come forward. Any road users who were travelling in the Pimlico Cottages/Ardee Street area between 11:30pm and midnight who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
