A man is due in court shortly charged in connection with the murder of Kevin Molloy in Cabra.
The 41 year old’s body was found at his home, a terraced house on Glendhu Road on February 1st.
A concerned relative called over to check on him after not hearing from him for a while and his body was found inside.
He was single and unemployed and had fallen on hard times.
At his funeral, his father said he had a drink problem.
A murder investigation was launched after a post mortem revealed he’d been beaten to death.
It’s believed his remains could have been in the house for at least a week before the discovery.
This morning, Gardai arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the murder.
He’s due before Dublin District Court shortly.
