A man has been arrested in Dublin after two handguns were seized.
The firearms were found when Gardai in Ronanstown stopped and searched a 36 year old man at Newlands Cross yesterday evening at half past six.
A small amount of cocaine was also found.
The man is being is being questioned under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Ronanstown Garda Station.
