Gardai are investigating the death of a woman in Raheny.
She was found dead at a house in the Kilbarrack Road area in the early hours of this morning.
A man aged in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The body of the victim, who was in her 40s, remains at the scene this morning.
The scene has been sealed off and the Garda technical team will conduct a forensic examination. The body of the deceased remains at the scene.
The office of the state pathologist has been called in.
