A man's been arrested and a car seized following a cross-country chase.
At around 7:15 last night a car was taken from Castle Street in Roscommon Town.
Over 2 hours later the car was spotted by the Dublin Regional Traffic Division on the N4 near Palmerstown.
It failed to stop for gardai and was intercepted a short time later on St. Johns Road West.
A 21-year-old was arrested in Heuston Station after a man fled the scene on foot.
He was taken to Kilmainham Garda Station where he was later released on bail.
The suspect is expected before Dublin District Court next month charged in connection with the incidents.
