A man in his thirties is appearing in court in Dublin this morning, charged in connection with an assault which has left a Nigerian man fighting for his life.
It happened shortly after 12 noon on Thursday on the Main Street in Swords.
It's believed golf clubs were used as weapons in the alleged attack, which left the victim in a critical condition in hospital.
A man was arrested shortly afterwards, and held at Coolock Garda Station.
He'll appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10:30 this morning.
