A computer software designer accused of sexually assaulting a woman on the UCD campus is due back in court today.

Patrick Nevin of Meadowlands Court, Mountain Road, was granted bail last week on condition he stays away from online dating sites.

This alleged attack happened at around 10pm on July 23rd.

The woman who made the allegation claims Nevin picked her up in a BMW on Talbot St. a short time beforehand.

She told Gardai he drove her to a secluded part of the UCD campus where he kissed her against her will and forced himself on her.

She claims he hit her on the head before she managed to escape.

A woman who was walking her out that night said she appeared to be "extremely distressed" when she ran into her shortly after the alleged attack.

Patrick Nevin, who is a graduate from UCD, was granted bail last week on condition he hand over €2,500 in cash and stay away from dating websites.

The 33-year-old father of two is due back in court today.
