A pedestrian has been killed following a collision on the M50 last night.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Shortly before midnight a man his 30s was hit by a car on the M50 Northbound near the Junction 5 Finglas exit.
The pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been taken to the City Morgue where a post mortem will be carried out at a later date.
No other injuries were reported and the road has fully re-opened after being closed for a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward and are also appealing for any road users who may have dash-cam to make this available to them.
