Junior Cycle Pass Score Set at 20%

Students will only need to score 20% to pass their Junior Cycle exams, under planned new reforms.

A draft marking scheme being circulated by the Deparment of Education sees a move away from As Bs and Cs.

The new system would be based on distinction and merits, with those scoring less than 20% deemed "not graded"
