Volkswagen's new boss says vehicles caught up in the company's emissions scandal will start being recalled in January.
Millions of diesel cars need alterations, after software was fitted in their engines to cheat pollution tests, and it's thought up to 80 thousand vehicles in Ireland could be affected.
Matthias Mueller has also warned staff of 'massive cutbacks' at the firm - but says he'll try to protect jobs.
