There’s been an increase in the number of people using alcohol, benzos and cocaine.
That’s according to the Coolmine Theraputic Community who say they treated 1000 people in 2012 with nearly half of them poly drug users.
Their 2012 report also shows there’s a drop in heroin use in Dublin but it’s on the increase outside of the city.
Francie Carey from Kilkee in County Clare is a former client of the centre, he says they saved his life.
