So you've your eye on a whole load of clothes, and there's only a few days until you (briefly) have a full bank account again.
Well, if you're toying with the notion of a bit of retail therapy - this story might just persude you into thinking it's a good idea to spend your hard-earned cash.
For the second year running, Dundrum Town Centre is hosting Shop For Good - a three-day fundraising initiative for the charity Console.
Basically, if you want to help the charity you can buy a €1 coupon from booths which will be dotted around the Town Centre. Show the coupons in a store, and they entitle you to discounts in shops and restaurants.
All proceeds from the coupons will go directly to Console.
Paul Kelly from the charity said "This exciting fundraising effort will raise much-needed funds to help Console in our efforts to reduce the high levels of suicide in Ireland and to continue providing counselling and support."
Don Nugent from Dundrum Town Centre said “No one helps raise money like the Irish public and the Dundrum customer... We are delighted that our retailers and restaurants feel as passionately about this activity as we do."
Nationwide professional suicide prevention and bereavement charity Console offers counselling services and 24-hour helpline support to people in crisis and those bereaved by suicide - Freephone 1800 247 247.
Dundrum Town Centre's Shop For Good runs from this Friday April 24th to Sunday 26th.
