Gardaí have arrived to clear the Forty Foot which reopened today.

Despite signs urging people to "swim and go", large groups of friends have gathered.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council says its bathers' personal responsibility to practice safe physical distancing.

It's one of two popular swimming spots in Dublin to reopen today, as temperatures look set to hit 22 degrees.

After being closed because of the coronavirus, the Forty Foot and Sandycove bathing areas are back open.
