A man has died in a suspicious house fire in Bray.
This blaze broke out at Oldcourt Avenue shortly before 4:30am.
A 55 year old wheelchair bound man was taken from the house.
Attempts were made to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed for a post mortem.
His son in his 20s was also in the house but was not injured.
Garda are treating the fire as suspicious and the scene has been sealed off for a technical exam.
Separately a family of two adults and two children were rescued from a house fire at Holywell in Swords at around midnight.
The two children and a woman were taken to hospital.
