Facebook is doubling the size of its offices in the docklands.
Less than 3 months after moving into a substantial new building beside the Grand Canal Theatre, the social media giant has agreed rental terms for a similar adjoining block.
This will double the size of its European headquarters, which looks after users from Europe, the middle east and Africa.
With the newly enlarged office able to house around 1500 staff, the company is expected to hire more workers.
Facebook has been in Ireland since 2009 and employs about 500 people.
