The destruction of Dublin caused by the 1916 rising is examined in a new exhibition which opens today.
The National Photographic Archive says the exhibit will give people a taste of what life in the city was like during and after the six day revolution.
It will also feature photos of famous names like Countess Constance Markievicz and Éamon de Valera.
It consists of 60 photographs and audio recordings of diary entries from people who witnessed the events.
The exhibition will be held at the Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, Dublin and runs until October.
