Door Of Air Corps Helicopter Hit Building As It Fell From Sky Over Dublin

The door of an Air Corps helicopter which fell from the sky in Dublin yesterday hit the roof of a building on the way down.

It struck the building after it fell from the AW139, eventually landing on the grounds of Moyle Park secondary school in Clondalkin.

It happened just after 5:50 yesterday evening, when the Air Corps was returning to Baldonnell from a Dublin hospital.

The Defence Forces is carrying out an investigation.
