The Centre have specialist facilities for pregnant dogs.

Banana, a heavily pregnant Lurcher arrived the Rehoming Centre in Finglas just before she gave birth.

She had nine puppies and they are adorable.

Karla Dunne, Head of Operations, says they have a Mutt-ernity wing for pregnant dogs to have their puppies.

"We are seeing a lot of vulnerable dogs coming through our doors, which is so incredibly heart-breaking as many of the dogs we have taken in have been pregnant. Thankfully we have a purpose built ‘Mutt-ernity Wing’ to care for pregnant dogs and give them a safe space to give birth."
