A harbour in south Dublin has been closed to the public after part of the wall fell away.

A section of the bedrock has come loose at Coliemore Harbour in Dalkey.

A cordon has been put in place and people are being asked not to enter the water.

Structural engineers are on site and the ferry to Dalkey Island has been cancelled temporarily.
