A man in his 20s who was seriously injured in a collision in Finglas yesterday evening has died.
Gardai were called to the scene on the Cappagh Road shortly after 5 o'clock.
The e-scooter rider was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital with serious injures and has since died.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic incident which occurred on the Cappagh Road, Finglas, Dublin 11, yesterday Sunday 15th June 2025.
"Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident involving an e-scooter shortly after 5pm.
"The male, aged in this 20s, travelling on the e-scooter who was brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown to be treated for serious injuries has since passed away.
"Investigating Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the in the Cappagh Road area between Heathfield and Cappagh Hospital between 4.45pm and 5.05pm and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available.
