Irish water is bad for homeowners and businesses.

This is according to Fianna Fail Councillor Mary Fitzpatrick who has today issued concerns with the installation of domestic water meters in Dublin.

The transition water service from Dublin City Council to Irish Water is planned to start this week ahead of the official transition date in January 2014.

Some of the most important details about how water services will be delivered have yet to be confirmed and Cllr Fitzpatrick is anxious that the government is prioritizing metering ahead of fixing leaks and building new water sources.
