The treatment of Ibrahim Halawa will be discussed at a major conference on overseas prisoners in Dublin Castle today.
The Dublin teenager's two year imprisonment without trial in Egypt has been the subject of much controversy, with repeated calls for intervention from the Irish Government.
The 19 year old was arrested during protests in Cairo in August 2013.
It's estimated he's just one of up to 12 hundred Irish citizens in jails abroad.
