A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Kevin Molloy, whose body was found at his Cabra home in February.
Raymond Walsh was arrested at his home on Carnlough Road, Cabra West this morning.
On Sunday February 1st, a relative of Kevin Molloy’s called over to his terraced home on Glendhu Road in Cabra.
The 41-year-old’s family were worried about him because he hadn’t been in touch for some time.
His body was found inside and a murder investigation was launched after a post mortem revealed he’d been beaten to death.
Raymond Walsh was arrested at his home in Cabra this morning, and he was brought to court this afternoon charged with Mr. Molloy’s murder.
There was no application for bail today because that can only be heard before a High Court judge. The 22-year-old was remanded in custody until next week to allow for a book of evidence to be prepared.
