A brother and sister are due to go on trial today for allegedly murdering an elderly man in Ringsend.
On Jan 6th 2014, the body of 63-year-old Thomas Horan was found inside his flat at Cambridge Court.
A murder inquiry was launched two days later after Gardai were given the results of a post mortem.
Four days after his body was found, Kenneth Cummins and his sister Sabrina, who both lived at nearby Ringsend Park were arrested.
They were charged with murder after two days of questioning.
A jury is due to be sworn in this morning to hear their trial.
