Breakthrough In Junior Doctor's Strike

The Irish Medical Organisation's welcoming the breakthrough in the row over Junior Doctor's working hours.

The union's accepted proposals put forward following crunch talks at the LRC late last night.

It means hospitals could be hit with fines for allowing Junior Doctors to do shift longer than 24 hours, and the HSE's agreed to get rid of the practise.
