Gardaí are asking for the public's help to link a burnt out car with an attempted shooting.
A black Volkswagen Golf was set alight at Old Court Cottages in Firhouse on Friday night.
Detectives think the incident may be connected to an attempted shooting at a nearby pub the same evening.
Two men were seen trying to set fire to the vehicle at around 7pm.
Gardaí would like to her from anyone who was in Old Court between 6pm and 8pm on Friday.
