Film-makers have expressed concerns about a six month filming ban on Henrietta Street by Dublin City Council.
Penny Dreadful and Ripper Street have used it as a key location because it offers untouched Georgian architecture.
However residents are fed up with the amount of activity in the area, claiming filming took place for 20 days in November.
The council says the ban period could be shorter if an agreement is reached with all parties.
