35 people have been deported from Ireland to Nigeria.
Gardaí from the National Immigration Bureau carried out an operation yesterday which resulted in 21 men, 9 women and 5 children being removed from the state.
They were put on a chartered flight from Dublin airport last night. The children were all part of family groups.
It's the latest in a series of deportation flights which resumed this year.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána says it continues to work closely with the Department of Justice in implementing immigration policy.
