Irish music, meet mindfulness. Niall Breslin—aka Bressie—is launching a deeply personal new album titled The Place That Has Never Been Wounded.

This isn’t your average collection of songs. It’s a therapeutic blend of spoken word, piano compositions, and the voices of legends. Among them: Sinead O’Connor and an evocative snippet of John F. Kennedy’s 1963 speech in Ireland.

Describing it as a “music therapy project,” Breslin said the album is a marriage of mindfulness, emotional healing, and sound—designed to offer listeners a moment of calm. Whether it's his own words over gentle piano or famous voices woven into the tracks, the goal is a space where you can close your eyes and simply breathe. The album itself is long-form—around 90 minutes—free from playlist pressures or format constraints.

Bressie's Professor-fuelled mindfulness approach here comes from his own academic background and deep experience in psychology, mental health, and music. The title reflects a safe inner place, untouched by trauma—something he believes we all carry, even when chaos surrounds us.
