Karate Kid: Legends is out now in Cinemas, bringing together the iconic worlds of the original films and the 2010 reboot.

🥋 A New Chapter Begins
The story follows Li Fong (Ben Wang), a kung fu prodigy from Beijing who relocates to New York City after a family tragedy. Struggling to adapt, Li befriends a retired boxer, Victor (Joshua Jackson), and his daughter, Mia (Sadie Stanley). When Li finds himself drawn into a local karate tournament, his mentor Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) seeks assistance from the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), to train Li in a fusion of martial arts styles.

🎬 Behind the Scenes
Directed by Jonathan Entwistle, known for The End of the F**ing World*, and written by Rob Lieber, the film bridges the narratives of the original Karate Kid series and the 2010 remake, creating a unified "Miyagiverse." Filming took place across Montreal, Los Angeles, and select New York locations, capturing the essence of the city while avoiding crowds by shooting during early hours.

During production, Jackie Chan, at 71, dislocated his shoulder during a fight scene but continued filming with resolve. Joshua Jackson impressed the crew by performing a full boxing sequence without a stunt double.
