After 15 years of captivating audiences, Downton Abbey is preparing to bid adieu with its final film, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, set to premiere in cinemas on 12 September 2025.

The newly released teaser trailer offers a glimpse into the 1930s, showcasing Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) navigating London's high society, while Lord and Lady Grantham (Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern) oversee the estate.

The film pays tribute to the late Dame Maggie Smith, whose character, Lady Violet Crawley, left an indelible mark on the series.

Directed by Simon Curtis and penned by series creator Julian Fellowes, the film features returning favourites and new faces, including Paul Giamatti and Dominic West.

As the Crawley family's journey concludes, fans can expect an emotional and fitting farewell to a beloved series.
