A man has suffered serious injuries after an assault in Dublin city centre.
He was attacked by two men on Abbey Street yesterday evening.
The victim, who in his 40s, was taken to the Mater Hospital after suffering injuries to his head. However his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
A follow up search of the area located two men in their 30s.
They were arrested and brought to Store Street Garda Station where they are currently detained under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
