Alright Dublin – looks like the summer of 2025 could be a scorcher! Weather experts are saying we’re in for a warmer-than-average few months, with temperatures expected to be about 0.5°C to 1°C higher than usual through May, June and July. We'll take what we can get.

This week’s giving us a proper taste of it too – sunshine across the capital, dry spells, and temperatures tipping between 14°C and 17°C. Perfect weather for a cheeky pint in the garden or a stroll along the canal.

And the weekend? Even better! Highs of up to 19°C and barely a drop of rain in sight. It’s proper t-shirt weather, so get the sun cream and shorts out!

Next week might throw us a few curveballs with a couple of showers and a rumble of thunder, but midweek’s looking calmer again with temps possibly hitting the low 20s. Ideal.

So whether you’re firing up the BBQ, heading to the park or just enjoying the rays on your lunch break – Dublin, we might just be in for a belter of a summer!
