Good Day For The Irish As Oscar Nominees Revealed

The Banshees of Inisherin has been nominated for NINE Oscars!

It's been shortlisted for best original score, best original screenplay, best film editing, best director and best picture.

Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan have been nominated for best supporting actor - and Colin Farrell was also given a nod for best actor.

It's the Dubliner's first time to be nominated for the best actor award.

Kerry Condon is also up for best supporting actress.

Meanwhile, Paul Mescal has also been nominated for Best Actor.
