Dolly Parton revealed the hilarious reason she rejected Kate Middleton's invitation to afternoon tea.
The country legend was recently interviewed by Claudia Winkleman for BBC Radio 2 where she was asked if she had planned to see more of London while she was in the UK.

Dolly didn't try to sugar coat it - she has no time for anyone. Even literal royalty!
“This time, Lordy, I even got invited to have tea with Kate,” she told Claudia, “And I felt so bad… I couldn’t even go! They had all this stuff set up.”
Kate sent her in invitation to come and have afternoon tea, but Dolly just couldn't fit it into her schedule!
"She wasn’t going to promote my rock album, so I had to say no,” Dolly joked.
