Hozier's Take Me To Church is the UK's second biggest selling single of the year, according to the Official Charts Company. He sold 996,000 copies of the hit song, but lost out on the top spot to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars's Uptown Funk.

OMI's 'Cheerleader' is third, Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do' is at number four and Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth's 'See You Again' is at five.

Ed Sheeran, Years & Years and James Bay also feature in the top 10.

In other news today, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been spotted on a date in Dublin. More on that story here
