Greatest Showman star Hugh Jackman opened the 2019 Brit Awards last night with a stellar performance. The actor belted out The Greatest Show from the hit musical at London's O2 Arena.
The powerful song features in the opening scene of the 2017 movie.
Hugh donned a silver suit for the performance which featured acrobats and hundreds of dancers were dressed in cabaret attire.
Jack Whitehall then appeared from a crowd of dancers to kick off his hosting duties.

Trailer: The Greatest Showman
For those who haven't seen The Greatest Showman, the film "celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation".
Jackman announced his first ever world tour back in November. He will perform songs from musicals such as The Greatest Showman and Les Misérables with a live orchestra.
'Hugh Jackman - The Man. The Music. The Show' comes to 3Arena on May 30th and 31st.
Meanwhile, a sing-along screening of The Greatest Showman has been announced for 98FM's Retro Drive-In Movies.

Brit Awards 2019 - The Winners
The 1975 were one of the big winners at last night's Brit Awards. The band took home the gong for Best British Group and Album of the Year.
It was also a great night for Calvin Harris who bagged his first two Brit awards for Music Producer of the Year and Best Single for 'One Kiss' with Dua Lipa.
Beyoncé and Jay Z aka The Carters won International Group.
George Ezra and Jorja Smith won Best Male and Best Female while Little Mix won Best Video for Woman Like Me.
Ed Sheeran accepted The Global Success Award via video link and Pink took home the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award.
