Hugh Jackman has made a Dublin child's dreams come true. The Greatest Showman star has sent a video reply to 7-year-old Emma from Lucan.

It's after Emma's mum, Jacqueline Cooney, posted a video on Twitter of her daughter singing 'A Million Dreams' from the hit musical film.

Jacqueline wrote: "Ok Twitterverse, I need your help - my little girl is obsessed with The Greatest Showman and Hugh Jackman but silly me didn't realise this in time to get tickets to his show in Dublin - so she sang this for him instead! Please help me get it to him & make my girl happy!"

Hugh Jackman's Reply

The Hollywood star replied to the video a few days later, with his own heartwarming video message.

"I just want to say your little girl, thank you so much for singing that song. Thanks so much for being a fan. And never stop dreaming. Remember, life is what you choose to make it so make it fantastic!"

Speaking to 98FM, Jacqueline said Emma was over the moon after seeing Hugh's message.

"She was so thrilled and excited to see his reply and loves him even more now. She said his video was very encouraging."

Hugh Jackman brings his world tour to 3Arena on May 30th and 31st.

Also this week, Make-A-Wish Ireland helped a 9-year-old PJ from Kildare meet his hero Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
