Tom Hanks And Wife Have Been Diagnosed With The Coronavirus

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for Covid-19.

Hank's confirmed the news via his Instagram account this morning. In the post he details the symptoms he and his wife experienced which include ''Slight fevers, chills and body aches''.

It was confirmed that he and his wife were travelling in Australia doing pre-production work for a film on Elvis Presley.

The Saving Private Ryan star wrote ''We were tested for Coronavirus'' and ''were found to be positive''.

The actor took a measured approach to the ordeal stating ''Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?''.

Hanks is to play Presley's Manager, Colonel Tom Parker, with Elvis being portrayed by Austin Butler.

The actor/director told fans he would '' keep the world posted and updated''.
