A Garda is recovering after being hit by an e-bike.
He was treated in hospital after a hit-and-run in Blanchardstown on Friday afternoon - and has since been discharged.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at Porterstown Park, after Gardaí responded to reports of a disturbance.
They want to speak to the male driver and passenger of the e-bike, who failed to remain at the scene.
A statement from a Garda spokesperson says: "During a routine patrol Gardaí responded to report of an e-bike causing a disturbance in Porterstown Park, Dublin 15 yesterday, Friday 30th May 2025.
"At approximately 2.30pm, a male Garda approached two males on the e-bike directing them to dismount.
"The e-bike then accelerated striking the Garda who was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged following treatment for non life-threatening injuries.
"The driver and passenger of the e-bike failed to remain at the scene.
"Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time is asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
"Investigations are ongoing."
