Hamilton leads the way at the Tony Awards - with a record 16 nominations. The show - in which the story of America's birth is told via rap - has been sold out on Broadway for months.
Shuffle Along follows with 10 nominations including Best Musical. Other musicals in the running for the theatre awards in New York include School of Rock and Waitress.
The Tony Awards take place on Sunday, June 12th.
