Selena Gomez has announced that she will be cancelling the European Leg of her Revival Tour, which includes her upcoming show at 3Arena on November 8th.
The singer says she's taking some time away from the spotlight to focus on her health. Gomez revealed that taking a break is absolutely necessary as she continues to battle lupus.
Selena released a statement to People.
"As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I've discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side-effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.
"I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support.
"You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issue."
Last October, Selena revealed she had been diagnosed with Lupus.
The news comes just weeks after her public row with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Selena called him out after he asked fans to stop commenting on his relationship with Sofia Richie.
Taking to Instagram, Selena wrote: "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol."
"It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone."
Bieber then deleted his Instagram account, while Selena later apologised for getting involved. She posted a video on Snapchat stating that what she said was "selfish and pointless".
