Rihanna's cancelled two UK shows - just hours after delaying the start of her world tour. Gigs in Cardiff and Sunderland in June are both off, while her Coventry date's been rearranged.
She cancelled the start of her ANTI World Tour this morning. The North American leg was set to kick off next week (February 26th) in San Diego but it will now launch March 12th in Florida.
Rihanna didn't perform at the Grammys earlier this week after being told to go on vocal rest by her doctors. In a statement, her rep said:
“Based on Rihanna’s examination, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords. The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately, therefore she cannot perform safely.”
