Leonardo DiCaprio shocked people in a recent interview with The Shortlist, when he revealed that he turned down a role in Star Wars.
The 41 year old actor was offered the part of a a young Anakin Skywalker in two of the three Star Wars prequels, 2002's Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
After meeting with George Lucas he had decided that he wasn't ready to "take that dive".
He had expressed to The Los Angeles times saying "I felt like I had this great thing in Star Wars that provided all these opportunities and gave me a career, but it all kind of felt a little too handed to me".
At the moment the Titanic star is currently promoting his new movie, The Revenant which has already been nominated for a Golden Globe. And maybe an Oscar? Fingers crossed.
