Eminem surprised fans with a performance at the Oscars overnight.
Lose Yourself from the movie 8 Mile won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Original Song. However, the rapper didn't attend that year's ceremony.
He took to the stage last night at the Dolby Theatre to perform the track and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Eminem took to Twitter afterward to thank the Academy for the opportunity.
"Look, if you had another shot, another opportunity... Thanks for having me @TheAcademy. Sorry it took me 18 years to get here."
