Elbow Have Announced A 3Arena Concert

Elbow have announced a UK and European tour. The band will perform at 3Arena on Saturday, March 28th 2020.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Thursday , September 26th here.

Elbow will release their eighth studio album 'Giants of All Sizes' on October 11th.

 

The Bernard Shaw Will Reopen On The North Side

The Bernard Shaw is going to re-open on the north side.

The iconic Dublin venue is being forced to leave its south side location, to make way for a new hotel.

The imminent closure has caused widespread outrage at the continued demolition of unique social venues.

The Bernard Shaw will open at the former Porterhouse on Whitworth Road, close to Phibsboro, Glasnevin and Drumcondra.

Thousands Of Dublin Students Join Climate Strike

Thousands of students across Dublin skipped school this afternoon to demand more action on climate change.

Millions of young people across the world are taking part in climate strike demonstrations today.

They are calling on governments and businesses to do more to protect the environment.

This is the third protest of its kind, and has been inspired by the teenage activist Greta Thunberg.

Westlife Have Added A Second Cork Date

Westlife have added a second 2020 Irish date. The band will now perform at Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium on Saturday August 29th as well as the previously announced date of Friday, August 28th.

Tickets for both dates priced from €59.50 are on now via Ticketmaster.

Emeli Sandé is special guest for both shows.

Westlife’s concert announcement last Monday followed the stunning success of this summer’s ‘Twenty Tour’.

 

Green Day, Fall Out Boy & Weezer Announce Dublin Gig

Tickets went on sale this morning for three of the biggest acts in rock music. Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer will perform at the RDS Arena on June 29th 2020.

Today also marks a big day for Green Day, as this album is 15 years old today.

 

Thousands Of UFO Hunters Storm Area 51.

UFO enthusiasts from all over the world have arrived to a remote town in Nevada, near Area 51.

Local residence are now worries about the vast crowds set to arrive following a viral facebook event.

Local police estimate that earlier today, about 1,500 people had gathered at the festival site, with 150 others making an additional trip up to the gates within distance of the base.
